Electric engineering innovators
At Sourceman International, we know that the future of engineering heavily relies on backing games changers to enable future thinking and innovation.
Since March 2015, we have been providing support to Team Swinburne, the longest dedicated electric team in Formula SAE Australasian competition.
As a Diamond Sponsor, we are proud to have provided Team Swinburne with high quality custom printed circuit boards and technical guidance.

Australia’s first university-based rocketry team
In January 2020, we became the proud sponsors of USYD Rocketry team, who design, manufacture high-power rockets to a world-class standard.
Being Australia’s first university-based rocketry team, their mission is to contribute to Australia’s expanding space industry by conducting research, facilitating experiential learning and demonstrating technical aptitude growth within Australian universities.
The team’s commitment to technical excellence saw them winning first place in the 10,000 ft COTS category with their first competition rocket in 2019. Their dedication to success continued with winning the Spaceport America Cup as a team in 2022.
Pushing the frontiers of autonomous technology with the autonomous integrated vehicle
In February 2023, we added another innovative student-run team to our sponsorship portfolio.
Monash Motorsport team designs, manufactures, tests and competes with formula style race cars in the Formula SAE and Formula Student competitions in both Australia and Europe.
Having achieved consistent success in FSAE Australasia and in European Formula Student competitions, the team has challenged themselves by setting their sights on becoming the top of the Driverless class of the Formula SAE competition.
We look forward to this exciting collaboration and providing Monash Motorsports team with the resources to continue their efforts through real world competitions and further strive for innovative performance.
Redefining the future of sustainable transport
Sunswift Racing is made up of a team of young innovators working to redefine the future of automotive technology through research and development of solar electric vehicle technologies.
The team has built seven solar vehicles which gained success in numerous solar vehicle races. Their latest innovative car, Sunswift 7 has achieved the Guinness World Record for going 1000km on a single charge in under 12 hours.
Our exciting partnership with the team started in October 2020 and we have been working together to help Sunswift’s young engineers become tomorrow’s problems solvers on a global stage.
