Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS)
Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS) is one of the few 3D printing technologies that can directly create a metal part from its 3D computer model.
This process is a result of the advancement of powder metallurgy, a metal-molding technology using heat and pressure to form powdered metal parts.
At Sourceman, by utilising DMLS we offer our clients freedom of design with streamlined manufacturing, reducing waste, saving time and resources needed for assembly.
We also provide low cost rapid prototyping through to professional quality production prints at an accelerated timeline.
By applying DMLS we also provide innovative solutions for complex metal parts which cannot be built with traditional manufacturing technologies.
These include parts with cavities, undercuts, drag angles, fit, form and function models, jigs, fixtures, conformal cooling channels, rotors, impellers and complex bracketing just to name a few.
