Flexible PCBs (Flex)
Flex PCBs are utilised in various industries due to their many advantages in both physical design as well as manufacturing.
These include, their 360-degree bendability, superior resistance to vibrations and other disruptions within harsh environments as well as their lightweight compact design and their small flexible cables that occupy less space than typical wires. And finally, their ability to be warped or contorted without any associated damage.
In addition, from a manufacturing perspective flex PCBs allow for better airflow and heat dissipation than other traditional boards. Their assembly cost is also significantly lower due to their small counts of interconnections and components.
Therefore, it is no surprise that the demand for flexible PCB’s has increased across all industries, specially in industrial and defence segments. Our manufacturing facilities are equipped with the technology and volume requirements to cater for all industries.
